Summary: The location was exceptional, right at the foot of the 199 steps, with stunning views from the Master Bedroom. The photos really don't do the property justice; it is beautiful, tradition, cosy, and well appointed. The secure parking was a huge bonus and very much appreciated. The stairs initially felt a bit scary (3 flights of spiral stairs), but we soon adjusted to them. There is a safety bar near the bathroom that could benefit from improvement to prevent the half-asleep accidentally falling down the stairs in the middle of the night, but we managed to not fall down. We easily filled our 3 day stay without ever using the car, could have done a lot longer; there is so much to see and do, and the beaches and walking for cheaper activities.
