Just half a mile from Millendreath beach, this lovely cottage is perfect for a cosy break away in the beautiful county of Cornwall.. 6 steps to entrance.
Ground Floor:

Kitchen/dining room: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, electric wood burner and door leading to courtyard with garden furniture.
Utility room: With fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.

There are sloping banks in the garden.. This lovely little terraced cottage is perfect for a small family or even just a couple. Hillview Cottage is the middle cottage in a row of three, set in a rural location yet just a few minutes from the pretty little seaside village of Millendreath. Situated next door to the owners’ home, the interior is cosy and well decorated with pretty furnishings throughout. The cottage offers a patio to the front and a garden to the side, complete with a summerhouse with views to surrounding fields. The sloping garden has fruit trees at the far end, and the summerhouse is a lovely quiet place to sit out and relax – a real suntrap!
Millendreath boasts a small south facing beach in a sheltered cove, popular with families in the summer with rock pools to explore at low tide. There is also the Black Rock Cafe, which has a bar with outside seating and heaters, bistro and takeway service. Enjoy a walk along the South West Coast Path to Looe to spend a sunny day on Plaidy beach, or for family fun why not visit the Monkey Sanctuary? The owner supplies guests with a pass for the Looe Bay Holiday Park to use during your stay, 500 yards, where there is a swimming pool, evening entertainment, shop and an arcade. Canoe and kayak hire, and paddle boarding are available nearby. Beach ½ mile. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Summary: We had a much needed holiday at Hillview cottage. The cream tea on arrival was most welcome and our dog was delighted with his ball and treats. The cottage was warm and cosy with a comfortable bed, good shower,and efficient cooker.It was lovely to listen to the owls in the trees opposite the cottage at night. The nearby beach was great for our dog to run around on, though the road to it was very busy , with no footpath. The local fish and chip restaurant and take-away was very good , and it was only a short drive into Looe from the cottage. Overall the cottage was well equipped-the only item we would like to have had was an indoor airer to hang up wet dog towels-luckily we took our own, just-in-case.
