Black Lantern Cottage is situated on the pedestrianised George Street in Hastings Old Town.

This two bedroom, two ensuite, three reception characterful property is full of original features. Spread across three floors with secluded courtyard garden.

There is a spacious lounge, dining room, playroom/study and a fully equipped kitchen providing everything needed for a perfect family stay.

The space
Black Lantern Cottage is situated in a pedestrianised street in the heart of Hastings Old Town. The cottage is the ideal base for exploring the towns numerous independent restaurants, quirky boutique shops, antique stores and art galleries together with the surrounding areas of natural beauty.

From the street, head through the gate and up a small flight of steps to the front door. Immediately to your left is the study/playroom with a smart TV with Netflix, sofa, children’s toys and a dedicated workspace with desk overlooking George Street. The entrance hall has under stair storage for buggies, bikes and suitcases.

On the second floor you will find a large comfortable lounge also overlooking George Street with table and chairs perfect for people watching. The room also has sofa seating for four and a large smart TV with Netflix.

Also on this floor is a dining room seating six. Adjoining the dining room is a well equipped kitchen which includes electric oven and hob, full standing fridge freezer, and a dishwasher. A door from the kitchen leads you out onto our secure private split level decked garden with outdoor dining table. This floor also includes a WC.

The top floor consists of two bedrooms. The spacious front bedroom has a super-king bed with a small ensuite complete with a shower and basin.

The master bedroom comprises of a king sized bed, smart TV with Netflix and master en-suite with WC, basin, storage unit and rolltop freestanding bathtub. There is also a small utility room with washing machine.

We have free high speed wifi throughout the property. All bed linen and towels are provided.
