Warm and welcoming, this grade II listed cottage has been lovingly restored to provide traditional, homely accommodation, ideal for families and friends wishing to explore this beautiful area. Many original features have been retained in this period property, such as beamed ceilings, salt cupboards and a stone fireplace. A narrow cottage staircase leads up to the two bedrooms.The cosy sitting room provides comfortable seating and a warming woodburning stove, perfect to relax around in cooler evenings, whilst the bathroom boasts a roll-top bath, perfect to soak in after a day's walking! Outside is a front lawned cottage style garden and a rear, enclosed garden, perfect to sit in with a morning coffee. The small village of Cropton has traditional village greens and a local inn and brewery, which serves real ales and food. Surrounded by stunning countryside and forestry, this cottage is just four miles from the market town of Pickering, which has excellent shops and restaurants, trout fishing, and is the terminus of the famous North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway.
