Enjoying an idyllic position in Rhydwyn near Church Bay, Anglesey is this charming, mid-terrace cottage of Fisherman's Cottages. Ideal for a small family of four, the cottage enjoys the delights of Anglesey's country, whilst also being a stone's throw away from its beaches. Upon arrival, park on the street outside before making your way inside and being welcomed by the quirky interiors of this lovely abode. Make yourself at home in the open-plan living space, where two plush sofas entice you to lounge in front of the flickering flames of the woodburning stove. After relaxing for a bit, progress to the kitchen, where a Smeg fridge, along with a selection of other great appliances will please any aspiring chef! When dinner is ready, enjoy it at the dining table; alternatively, take it out to the decking and enjoy a spot of alfresco dining. At the end of the day, climb the stairs to find two lovely bedrooms, the first being a double, enjoying elegant décor throughout, and the other being a twin enjoying a nautical theme. The shower room also rests on this floor, with slate tiling adorning the walls and floor. Travel to the close-by village of Church Bay, where the gorgeous sands of Porth Swtan, the welcoming pub of The Church Bay Inn and the renowned Lobster Pot await. Venture to Holy Island and spend some time walking through South Stack, where the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, famed lighthouse and ample bird watching opportunities can be found, along with the thriving town of Holyhead, with its golf club and Breakwater Country Park. Nearby, the delights of Melin Llynon, Porth Twyyn Mawr and Llyn Alaw can also be found. Amlwch, Cemaes Bay and Rhosmeigr are all lovely locations within easy reach, whilst the mainland, home to Bangor and Snowdonia National Park can be found a little further afield. The little village of Llanfaethlu is located on Anglesey's magnificent northwestern shore. This quiet community, nestled among stunning cliffs and sandy beaches, has a village shop and Post Office, as well as a fantastic seafood restaurant in neighbouring Church Bay. The only operational windmill in Wales is close by, giving visitors the chance to see corn ground the old-fashioned manner, while the surrounding countryside offers good fishing, birding, and coastal walks, as well as climbing in Snowdonia.
