2 Bedroom Condo in Sandbanks

1 Sandcastles is a luxury ground floor two bedroom apartment located on the Sandbanks peninsula and 200 yards from golden sandy beaches.

The apartment boasts an open plan full fitted kitchen, dining and living area as well as two beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms (one double and the second has a bunk bed and single bed) that sleeps 5 in total. Perfect for a family holiday and a four-legged friend. There is an enclosed furnished patio suitable for you children and dogs. There is a private and secure parking space for one car as well as spacious communal rear lawned garden and decking area with a shared BBQ.

Please note the check-in days are Fridays and Mondays. Check-in time at this apartment is 4pm and check-out time is 9am.

Please be aware between 31st October and end of December there are building works taking place which may cause noise during day-time hours.

Nearby beaches are dog friendly after 1 October until April.

The property is equipped with everything you will need, including utilities, bed linen and towels.

Electronic gate for access to the development and secure entrance lobby accessed with key codes provided by the local property manager the week prior to arrival. Parking is available for ONE car only and the allocated space for Flat 1 is at the rear of the building (the spaces are all signposted).

There are two or three bike storage hoops at the back of the building (they are for use of the whole block of flats, first come first served!). Guests need to provide their own locks and obviously storage is at your own risk.

There is a fold away travel cot provide but guests will need to bring their own bedding. It includes the standard base / padding, but not an additional mattress on top.

Summary: A great location, the apartment was fairly clean, a few cobwebs here anf there, toilet bruhes could do with replacing. Booking and communication was a little clunky. Not quite sure who i was dealing with , Swish or Virbo. Then there were different people from whom we had messages. Parking coukd have been an issue had we come in two cars as there is only one parking place allocated to each apartment. I think the property details should emphasise that there is only one parking place for each apartment. The main gate wasn't working when we arrived and the lock to the gate to the patio area was broken which meant that we did not have a secure outside area for our dogs. There was maintenance/refurbishment workk going on when we were there which we were not given prior notice of. However, the apartment was well appreciated with all the essentials that one would expect. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
