Summary: Beautiful place and an amazing location. After reading the Guest Book comments, which unfortunately we forgot to fill in, I cannot believe that no mentioned the helicopters that fly over, they were AMAZING, they fly over from the nearby Army Airfield and are quite low. They were Apache Gunships and I could have watched them all day. The Air Museum is definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately the resident owl was not at home, but there were a couple of red kites, herons and of course the alpacas. It is a wonderful picture post card village with loads of thatched cottages. And the drive up and home through the village of Brook on the New Forest, seeing the ponies, pigs and sheep just wondering about. We would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful and peaceful home, just to sit outside watching the sunset and the wildlife was more than enough.
